I like diving into all kinds of media - watching, making, and picking it apart!

I received my B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from University of California, Merced. I was involved with campus life, the local community, and contributed to research during my time at UCM. My research intersected humanities with STEM, introducing me to the world of 'Digital Humanities'.

Currently, I'm breaking into IT. On the side I create websites, tinker with personal projects, and continuously learn new technologies. After some time in the industry, I plan to pursue a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS).

The name was created when I did my first lab for making a website in college. It just stuck with me! ".icu" is just a fun detail for what my URLs would look like HAH I also had a MySpace and tumblr... plus My name is Shelly... ya know this is MY ~digital~ space.
